摘　　要：Shuidong is located in Xuanzhou, in central China＇s Anhui Province. The town, located on the Shuiyang River and with a busy commercial dock, prospered during, the Sui （581-618） and Tang （618-907） dynasties. The town＇s existing ancient streets cover 0.5 square meter, and the main street is 740 meters long-and four meters wide. The streets were built with stones, not asphalt. The buildings that line the streets were built in Anhui style, which means they have dark tiles and wooden eaves.水东镇始建于隋唐时代．山清水秀，古迹众多。明清时期．古镇水东因水阳江这条“黄金水道”而成为鼎盛的商埠码头。与徽派建筑一脉相承的水东老街，青石板铺成的街道两侧，是清一色的青礁黛瓦、木檐、马头墙，与光溜溜的青石板街道路面相映成趣，更显盎然古意和徽风皖韵。
