摘　　要：心理空间理论认为语篇的构架是一个若干相互关联的心理空间网络。该理论通过构建基点空间、视点空间、焦点空间和事件空间,把现实世界和心理世界的关系转化为读者和语篇之间的互动,从而为语篇分析提供合理修改的解释。Mental space theory believes that the frame of a discourse is a net of mental space. This theory transfers the rela- tion between real world and mental world into the interaction between the readers and discourses by base space, viewpoint space and focus space, which offers an explanation for discourse analysis. This paper attempts to apply the mental space theory to analyzing the mental space construction and discussing the narrative function in Great Expectations.
