摘　　要：可以说，一部跨国公司的发展历史就是一部企业跨国并购重组史。并购一般指兼并（Merger）和收购（Acquisition）。兼并指2家以上的独立企业合并组成一家企业的活动，通常由1家优势企业吸收1家或几家企业。收购指企业通过资本运作购买另一家企业的股份或者资产，以获取对该企业不同程度的控制权的活动。重组指为改善企业的经营状况，对产权、债务、资产、管理结构进行的改组与整合。China truck industry is now experimenting a transition period from the 'Big'to the Powerful and Prosperous, which is the only road for chinese truck industry to take. To feed to chinese truck industry the valuable reference and experience of international merge activities, the article provided an overall review of major merge events in the past 30 years among those international heavy-duty truck giants, including Daimler Truck, Volvo and PACCAR, etc.
