莲池书院创新改革的沿承——以吴汝纶创办桐城学堂为例

摘　　要：清末著名教育家吴汝纶对家乡教育的最大贡献是主持创办桐城学堂,而其筹建桐城学堂的一些构想正是其在执掌莲池书院时进行的教育创新改革的沿承。这些先进的办学理念、教学模式和管理方法为中国近代教育发展提供了理论和实践上的借鉴,对我们今天的现代教育改革具有不可忽视的启迪意义。Wu Rulun was a famous educationist in late Qing Dynasty whose greatest contribution to his home town was the establishment of Tongcheng School,the conception of which was inherited from the educational innovative reform of Lianchi Academy headed by him.His advanced school administrating conceptions,teaching modes and management provided theoretical and practical references for modern China's education and are still of enlightening significance to contemporary educational reform.
