摘　　要：刘师培是晚清民初重要的经史学家、文学家。刘师培著述颇富,包含了系统的文章学理论。刘师培的文章学理论具有一定的传播学意义,表现出对文章传播功能的认识,主要表现在三方面:其一,提出文章源起于"记诵之学";其二,认为文章之美在于"音节";其三,肯定文章传播形式因时适变。Liu Shi-pei was the famous Confucian historian and literati.Liu Shi-pei wrote many writings which contained systematic essay theory.His theory was of dissemination characteristics and embodied his understanding of the essay’s disseminating function,which reflected in three aspects as follows： Firstly,he suggested that essay originated from the learning of chanting.Secondly,the formal key of essay exists in syllable.Thirdly,he approved the wrings in vernacular at his time and the disseminating function of assays that would change with the passage of time.
