摘  要:Objective: To investigate the effect of single-wall carbon nanotubes on the mitochondrial electron transport chain (METC) of tumor cells. Methods: Human hepatocarcinoma cell line HepG2 were cultured in DMEM medium (Hyclone) supplemented with 10% fetal calf serum (Gibco) in a atmosphere of 95% oxygen and 5% carbon dioxide under 37C. Cells were exposed by adding SWCNTs in the medium in concentrations of 1.5 - 12btg/ml. HepG2 cells exposed to narmal saline were used as control. The cells were collected after at 24h. The mitochondrial of HepG2 cells were obtained by density gradient centrifugation and were examined under transmis- sion electron microscope (TEM) . Four enzyme activity of the mitochondrial electron transport chain (METC) were determined by enzyme mark instrument.
