摘　　要：The spirit of constructive engagement, together with discontent with and resistance against theory, exerts their power in the Symposium on Innovation and Teaching of Literary Theory which was held jointly by Fudan University and Shanghai Normal University from November 18 to 21 in 2011. Sixty-two articles form literary scholars in China have been submitted to the symposium which allows individual scholars to voice anxiety, renovate theoretical paradigms or redesign teaching modules of literary criticism in the context of contemporary China.
