摘　　要：高校科技统计工作是科研管理制度化、科学化、规范化的基础,科技统计的目的在于应用,是了解过去,掌控现状,规划未来。文章通过介绍高校科技统计工作的主要内容,阐述高校科技统计在科研管理中的重要性,提出了实现科技统计准确性、真实性和完整性的建议,以提高高校科技统计的质量和工作成效。并对科技统计活动的发展变化规律分析,为各级领导及时调整科技政策、制定发展规划以及学科建设提供科学依据。因此,做好高校科技统计工作对提高高校科研管理水平和可持续发展具有重要作用。Science and technology statistics in universities is the basis of scientific research management. The purpose of sci ence and technology statistics is to understand the past, control the present and plan for the future. Main contents of science and technology statistics in universities are introduced in this article. The importance of the science and technology statistics on scientific research management is emphasized. In order to improve the quality of science and technology statistics, its ac curacy, reality and integrity should be achieved. The development and changes of the statistics of science and technology ac tivities is analyzed in this paper. This provides scientific foundation for leadership to adjust policy of science and technolo gy, development planning and discipline construction. Therefore, science and technology statistics has important significance in scientific research manatement in universities.
