摘　　要：古代对孝的最基本的规定是"善事父母、仁爱父母",主要表现在孝养亲体和孝养亲志两个方面。批判地继承和弘扬孝的优良传统,有助于促进和谐社会建设、核心价值体系建构和公民道德建设。The definition of Filial Piety in ancient China is “being dutiful and benevolent to parents”. And “providing supplying for parents” and “respecting parents＇ will are its two major manifestations. Critically inheriting and carrying forward the good traditions of filial piety can help to boost the harmonious social construction of socialism and the establishment of the core system of socialist values as well as civic moral construction.
