摘　　要：阿瑟·米勒在《推销员之死》一书中塑造的的主人公威利·罗曼呈现出扁平人物的特征,然而,并不是传统意义上的单薄的扁平人物,而是带有圆润化的趋势,对扁平人物的塑造手法既有继承又有颠覆,使人物性格既具有典型代表性,又生动形象,是文学作品中扁平人物的华丽蜕变。Willy Loman, the hero in Death of a Salesman written by Arthur Miller, bears the characteristics of flat characters. However, this character is not as thin or dry as in the traditional flat characters. It takes on the tendency of rounding. It is both in inheritance and subversion of the traditional way of flat characters. In this way, the characters are both typical and lifelike. This is the glorious transformation of flat characters.
