《中国日报》英语社论中的修辞手段探析

摘　　要：《中国日报》英语社论作为我国政府极其重要的具有政论性质的传播媒介,主体上具备政论的特点,但为了达到新颖别致和耐人寻味的表达效果,常采用各种修辞手段。选取《中国日报》中的20篇英语社论为对象进行分析,发现其中比较常用的修辞手段有:比喻、拟人、委婉语、移就、仿拟、借代、引用、头韵、呼告。巧妙地运用修辞手段对于增强《中国日报》英语社论的说服力和感染力有巨大作用。As important communication media of our government, English editorials in China Daily have characteristics of political comment. In order to get they often use different kinds of rhetoric means in the unique, fresh and thought-provoking effect of expression, This paper tries to analyze and illustrate the rhetoric means frequently used in the editorials by citing lots of examples, and attempts to provide some references to read appreciate English editorials better.
