摘　　要：私立大学基金会在美国高等教育发展过程中起着十分重要的作用。首先,在社会捐赠文化和制度保障下,美国私立大学基金会筹资体系灵活,主要体现在组织机构完善、捐赠项目多样化、校友会作用明显等;其次,基金会实施专业化的投资管理,有高效的投资决策组织、资产配置合理、关注另类资产等,其投资收益已成为大学财政收入不可或缺的组成部分。The American private universities’ foundations have been playing an important role through the development of American higher education.With the guarantees of culture and laws of society endowment,the funding-raising systems of them are flexible,such as perfect organizational framework,variety endowment programs,emphasizing on the effect of alumni.Meanwhile the foundations operate investment professionally,forming high effective investment organization,determining a diversity asset class by appropriate asset allocation,focusing on alternative investments.Their investment incomes have been the necessary parts of the university operating budgets.
