摘　　要：海南国际旅游岛建设提升至国家战略,对海南会展业发展是机遇更是挑战。海南举办国际化高规格会展的瓶颈在于会展业人才,其中专业策划人才、设计人才和管理人才固然重要,但在建设海南国际旅游岛背景下,有一批精通外语、具有国际视野和国际会议保障技能的跨文化交际人才显得更为重要,其对海南会展业走向专业化、规模化、品牌化和国际化具有重要意义。The Upgrading of Hainan International Tourist Destination Construction to one of the national strategies provides Hainan＇ s MICE industry with both opportunity and challenge. For Hainan, the bottleneck of holding international conferences and exhibitions of high leve is its lack of talents, including not only pro- fessional planners, designers and managers, but also those with intercultural communicative competence.
