摘　　要：生物信息学是一门结合计算机、生物、数学、统计学的新兴交叉学科,为其他生命学科提供了新的研究平台。探讨了生物信息学中几种重要的数据库及其应用,为了将网络上分布的、异构的生物信息数据库实现资源共享与整合,提出了一个基于XML的异构生物信息数据库的整合系统,并且设计了该系统的体系结构。Bioinformaties is a new branch of science which combine computer science, biology, mathematics and statistics, it provides a new platform for other life science research. In this paper, several important bioinformatics databases is explored, In order to realize resource sharing and integration in distributed and heterogeneous bioinformatics databases, an integration system of heterogeneous bioinformatics database based on XML is put forward, and its architecture is also designed.
