摘　　要：新疆和田地区达玛沟绿洲一带是塔克拉玛干南部地区古代佛寺遗址群分布最为密集、规模最大、保存状况最好的地区之一，分布着包括喀拉墩、喀达里克、巴拉瓦斯特、老达玛沟、丹丹写里克等七、八处大型佛寺遗址群。托普鲁克墩佛寺建筑遗址位于达玛沟乡政府东南约7公里的荒漠沙丘间，是近些年来的又一处重大发现。From May to June 2010, the Xinjiang Archaeological Team, IA, CASS has conducted an excavation to the Topulukdong llI Buddhist Architectural Ruins at Damago Township in Qira County of Hetian （Khotan） Prefecture, Xinjiang, and an area of 800 sq m has been uncovered. The excavation shows that Topulukdong W , a complex for living, studying and sutra discussing, together with Architectures I and II, constitutes a large Buddhist monastery. The new architectural types, including a square-shaped yard and monks＇ dormitories, are seen for the first time in this region, providing new materials for the studies on the local architectural history. The remains yield a group of invaluable mural fragments with images as donors in Han Chinese and Tibetan costumes, inscriptions in ancient Tibetan and Khotan scripts, reflecting strong influences respectively from the Tang and Tubo Empires during the 8-9th centuries.
