摘 要:作为美国高等教育质量保证和质量改进的认证体系,已经演变成为当今世界各国高等教育质量管理的主要方式之一。但其高等教育质量保障体系的内在逻辑和核心机制,还有待于进一步地研究和分析。自20世纪80年代末以来,学生评价成为推进美国高等教育质量改进和认证机构转型的"催化剂",因此从历史的视角分析二者交互依存的状态和影响,某种程度上可以说明美国高等教育质量观转变和保障机制转型的内在逻辑。Accreditation,as the system for American higher education quality assurance and quality improvement,has evolved into one of the most important ways for higher education quality management in the whole world. The concerns with higher education quality in China,as the result of expansion at the end of the 1990s,have directed the home scholars interests towards American higher education accreditation. However ,the internal logic and core mechanism of accreditation for the US higher education quality assurance and quality improvement have to be further explored. The study cautiously examined how student assessment was becoming the most important catalyst for the transformation of accredited organization since the 1980s based on the historical analysis of their reciprocal influence as to explain the internal logic of the transformation of quality concept and assurance mechanism of American Higher Education.
