京剧行当翻译中的文化传递

摘　　要：在京剧行当的翻译中,所要传递的是中国传统文化的精髓。翻译时,必须以中华文化作为中心文化进行翻译,以此达到传递文化的目的。文章阐述了翻译与文化传递的关系,以及文化传递中的中心文化,分析了现存京剧行当翻译中存在的一些问题,指出在京剧行当术语的翻译过程中,没有任何一种方法可以通用。只有充分理解其文化内涵、结合相关内容,译名才能更好地传递中华文化,让中华文化为更多人所了解。Chinese culture needs to be transmitted in translating Peking Opera.In the process of translating,Chinese culture should be put in the place of central culture so that it can be introduced better.This paper analyzes the relationship between translation and cultural transmission and lists some problems existing in the present translation of Peking Opera and some methods to the problems.They are literal translation combined with notes providing cultural information,free translation based on Chinese culture,and combination of literal and free translation with the true essence of Chinese culture.When cultural connotations of Peking Opera are fully understood,Chinese culture can be introduced with those better translations and thus make it known by more countries.
