摘　　要：科学是新文化运动的一面旗帜,但实际上,新文化运动者对科学的理解存在价值取向的差异。在《新青年》影响下产生的学生杂志《新潮》即是一例。《新潮》更重视科学的理性和系统性,重在介绍具体的现代学术知识,并强调科学的方法在构建中国新文化中的作用。这种对科学的理解,促使大多数《新潮》成员最终走上学术救国的道路,开启了中国学院文化之端。Despite Science as a flag of the New Cultural Movement,those engaged in the movement differed in their value orientation in terms of the interpretation of science.The Renaissance,a student magazine produced under the influence of The New Youth,is an example.Giving more attention to the rationality and systematicity of science,The Renaissance focused on introducing specific modern academic knowledge and attached importance to scientific methods in constructing the new culture of China.This interpretation of science made the vast majority of the members embark on the saving of the country academically,which serves as the starting point of China's college culture.
