摘 要:作为一种有效的教学模式和富有创意的教学策略体系,合作学习内涵丰富。它以目标设计为先导,强调学生的主体参与和学生之间的互动合作,能极大增加学生语言输入和输出的机会,激发并保持学生的学习兴趣,理应受到广大英语教师的青睐。但是,相关研究和调查显示,合作学习在日常教学活动中并没有被大学英语教师主流所采用,有些教师尽管尝试过合作学习,但在实践过程中常常遭受挫折和失败。通过课堂观察并结合访谈发现,大学英语合作学习的尴尬是由传统观念、教学管理滞后和对合作学习的理解不够透彻等原因造成,据此应采取转变教育理念、学习并研究合作学习、营造积极合作氛围、培养合作意识和技能、狠抓课堂教学、建立有效评价体系等措施,以促成学生有效学习,实现大学英语教学目标。As an effective teaching mode and a creative strategy system, cooperative learning is a con- cept with rich connotation. Guided by objective design, cooperative learning emphasizes students" ac- tive participation and the interaction and cooperation between students,which can greatly increase op- portunities for students" language input and output, effectively stimulate and keep students'learning in terest,should be favored by the majority of teachers. But according to the relevant studies and sur- veys, cooperative learning is not being used by mainstream college English teachers in daily teaching activities though some have attempted trying to lead their students to cooperative learning, meanwhile, the teachers using cooperative learning often suffer from setbacks and failures. Through the combina- tion of classroom observations and interviews, the author concludes that the embarrassment of cooper- ative learning is caused by traditional concepts, teaching management lags and the insufficient under- standing of cooperative learning. Hereby some effective measures are suggested to promote students" effective learning, thereby to achieve the college English teaching goals, which includes transforming educational concepts, learning and studying cooperative learning, creating positive atmosphere of co- operation, cultivating the consciousness and skills of cooperation, establishing the effective evaluation system and efficiently improving classroom teaching, etc.
