农村高中生对民办高等教育的需求研究

摘　　要：当前农村高中生对民办高等教育的需求不高,大部分农村高中毕业生都将民办高校作为"次优"选择。很多农村高中生即使获得民办本科院校入学资格,也会放弃接受本科教育的机会而进入公办高职院校就读。解读现象背后的成因,部分民办高校的教育质量不高和高昂的学费是导致农村高中生对民办高等教育需求不高的根本原因。要提高农村高中生对民办高等教育的需求,一是要提高民办高校的办学质量,二是要建立公共经费进入民办高校的通道,从而降低学生及其家庭的学费负担。A survey shows that the demand for non-governmental institutions of higher learning from rural high school students is low.The majority of rural high school graduates regard non-governmental institutions of higher learning as a ＂sub-optimal＂ choice.Many students qualifying for non-governmental institutions of higher learning give up the opportunity and enroll to public vocational colleges instead.This is largely due to the relatively poor education quality and high tuition fees of non-governmental institutions of higher learning.To improve the rural high school students＇ demand for non-governmental institutions of higher learning,it is necessary to improve their teaching quality and establish the channels for public finance support to reduce the students＇ and their families＇ financial burden.
