摘　　要：V.S.奈保尔是二十世纪最著名的离散作家之一,《抵达之谜》是他2001年获得诺贝尔文学奖的扛鼎之作。小说中,看似零散无序模糊文字实质是奈保尔对自身三十多年来个人私密世界进行了剖析,在家园,宗主国,印度,死亡等重大主题上有了哲理的思考。此时的他将目光转移到人文关怀,勇敢地、更加真实地揭示了在心中隐藏已久的那个抵达之谜。As one of world-famous diasporic writers in the 20th century,Naipaul won the Nobel Prize in Literature especially for The Enigma of Arrival in the year of 2001.With those disordered and ambiguous words,he reflects on such significant topics as home,travel-style life,metropolitan state,India,and death,which he dare not face in the past.However,finally,he gets out of it and bravely reveals what he is thinking and tells us the enigma of arrival in his mind.
