摘　　要：不放下绝缘子串带电更换500 kV直线单片绝缘子是2012年中国南方电网公司举办的"同心杯"带电作业技术竞赛的集体项目。广东电网代表队发明了一件小工具(横担旁挂钩),很好地解决了进入等电位时接近绝缘子串距离不够和在横担上摘取单片绝缘子困难的两大难题;广西电网代表队使用短托瓶架的方法也很容易地解决了在横担上摘取单片绝缘子困难的问题。一个小发明解决了作业中的大难题。The live-line replacement of 500 kg linear single-string insulator without putting insulator string down is the collective item of ＂Same Heart Cup＂ live-line work competition conducted by China Southern Power Grid in 2012. The team from Guangdong power grid invented a small tool （beside hook of cross arm） which solved two difficult problems： inadequate distance from insulator string when entering equal potential level; difficult getting single-string insulator from cross arm. The team from Guangxi power grid also easily solved the second problem by using short bracket. A small invention can solve big problems at work.
