美国的俄狄浦斯式英雄——试论小说《智血》中的古希腊悲剧元素

摘　　要：弗兰纳里.奥康纳的小说《智血》包含了许多古希腊的悲剧元素。从亚里士多德的悲剧理论的角度来分析,小说《智血》在情节安排、悲剧成因及悲剧效果方面都与亚里士多德称之为悲剧典范的《俄狄浦斯王》有着惊人的相似之处。不同于其他学者的宗教救赎、圣经原型移位及后现代等的研究视角,从悲剧理论入手分析小说的悲剧特征,展示《智血》长久以来震撼读者的悲剧魅力,试图拓宽奥康纳小说的研究视角。There are many elements of ancient Greek tragedies in Wise Blood written by Flannery O＇Connor. Based on the Aristotle＇s theory of tragedy. Wise Blood is strikingly similar to Oedipus Rex which was regarded as the classic of tragedy by Aristotle in terms of the plot design, causes of tragedy and effects of tragedy. Different from the perspectives like religious salvation, the displacement of biblical archetypes and postmodernism, this paper, based on the Aristotle＇s theory of tragedy, analyzes its features. It intends to show the novel＇s enduring charm of tragedy and to broaden the scope of O＇Connor study.
