摘 要:脑瘫、脑卒中、颅脑外伤、多发性硬化等疾病引起上运动神经元病损均可出现肌肉痉挛,给患者的肢体功能造成不良影响。肉毒毒素是肉毒梭状芽孢杆菌产生的一种毒力极强的嗜神经生物毒素,可阻断神经肌肉接头处的乙酰胆碱的释放,导致肌肉松弛性麻痹。一些临床专家利用肉毒毒素(主要为A型肉毒毒素Botulinum toxin type A,BTX-A)的这种生物活性,来治疗肢体肌肉痉挛,已成为相关医学生物学和临床研究的热点之一。Cerebral palsy,stroke,brain trauma, multiple sclerosis can cause upper motor neuron lesion and lead to occur a muscle spasm, as a consequence an adverse effect has been developed in limb functions of affected patients. Botulinum toxins are one type of the most toxicant bio-toxins and are generated by Clostridium botulinum, which can produce temporary muscle paralysis by the presynaptic inhibition of acetylcholine release at the neuromuscular junction. Some clinical experts use botulinum toxins to treat limbs spasticity, the main commercial preparation is BTX-A,which has become a hot focus in study on medical biology and related chnical fields. In this paper,it is reviewed progress in application of botuhnum toxin type A to treat spasticity in upper limbs.
