摘　　要：溃疡性结肠炎是一种原因尚未明确的慢性疾病,以大肠黏膜与黏膜下炎症,以及炎症引起的溃疡为主要特征。它具有反复发作的特点,而且每次的发作都是前次基础上的加重,在治疗上比前次时间长,取效慢,花费多。用药贵。因此对于本病抗复发的研究,会给本病的治愈带来希望。文章根据《内经》"肾为胃关,开窍于二阴"之说,认为溃疡性结肠炎复发的原因与肾虚有关,提出补肾(温肾阳与补肾阴)能改善疾病缓解期,缓解症状,并能有效防止溃疡性结肠炎的复发,并以补肾可调节肠道免疫功能,而阐述了其治疗机理。Ulcerative Colitis（UC）is a kind of chronic disease whose causes are not yet clear.The disease is characterized by large intestinal mucosal and sub-mucosal inflammation,and inflammation-caused ulcers.It relapses frequently and each time gets worse than before,the treatment thus takes longer and costs more to be effective.Therefore,studies on the anti-relapse treatment of the disease would bring hope to its full recovery.According to The Yellow Emperor＇s Canon of Medicine,as the gate to stomach,kidney opens into anus and urethra.Based on this theory,this paper believes that the relapse of ulcerative colitis is related to kidney deficiency,and tonifying kidney（warming kidney-yang and replenishing kidney-yin）can help relieve the symptoms and effectively prevent the relapse of the disease.The treatment of the disease is also elaborated based on how tonifying kidney can help regulate intestinal immune function.
