摘　　要：八年制医学教育是一种精英教育,目的在于培养具有国际竞争力的高素质临床医学专门人才。培养八年制医学生的科研能力和创新精神,对其适应二十一世纪的挑战至关重要。在基础医学阶段,积极开展多种形式的早期科研训练,提高八年制医学生的科研素养、创新思维和转化医学科学研究能力,为其未来的发展打下坚实基础。Eight-year program is a kind of elite education, which aims to cultivate intenmtionally competitive clinical expertises with high quality. It is very important to develop eight-year program students＇ scientific researching capacity and innovation ability to adapt to the challenges of 21 century. It is useful to develop eight-year program students＇ ability of scientific researching, innovative thinking and translational medical researching through various kinds of scientific research training, which can lay a solid foundation for their further development in the future.
