摘　　要：《上海女孩》是美籍华裔作家邝丽莎于2009年出版的一部力作,在这部小说中她以中国和美国为两大地理空间,用大量的篇幅描述了华人的移民生活及其心路历程,呈现小说的思乡主题。本文将以中国的上海、美国天使岛以及洛杉矶这三重地理空间为基点,展示以珍珠和梅为代表的华人移民从被迫逃离祖国到充满希望的期待再到异国中思念故乡,层层推进来揭示小说的思乡主题。Shanghai Girls is a masterpiece of the Chinese American writer Lisa See in 2009.Based on two geographic spaces,China and America,this novel elaborates on the life of the Chinese immigrants and their inner feelings centered around the theme of homesickness.This article explores the threefold geographic spaces in the novel,i.e.Shanghai,Angel Island and Losangles,to reveal the psychological struggles of the Chinese immigrants represented by Pearl and Mei.Despite being forced to leave their country,the immigrants are filled with hope as they await their new life in America while deeply missing their hometown and their native country.This novel through the experience of these immigrants to reveal its theme.
