摘　　要：《邓小平评传》是海南籍香港作家寒山碧传记文学的代表作。寒山碧利用香港的民主自由为邓小平撰写传记文学作品,力求客观真实,公正中立,既叙述了传主曲折的人生,又表现了传主的人性和温情,同时对传主作了精湛的评点,显示出作家追求真理的勇气。A Biography of Deng Xiaoping is the master work of biography literature for Han Shanbi, a Hong Kong writer of Hainan origin. Thanks to the democratic and free atmosphere in Hong Kong, Han Shanbi makes ev- ery effort to be objective, authentic, fair and impartial in his writing of a biography of Deng Xiaoping. In his writ- ing, Han Shanbi not only relates Deng Xiaoping＇ s tortuous life but also shows Deng Xiaoping＇ s human nature and tender feelings coupled with a review of Deng Xiaoping＇ s life, which reveals Han＇ s courageous pursuit of the truth.
