实证类英语学术研究话语中的文献引用特征

摘　　要：引用是实证类英语学术研究话语中最显著的特征之一,既展现作者对具体研究领域的知识宽度,同时将自己的研究巧妙地根植于该学科话语之中。本研究首先评价国际研究中的分析框架存在的主要问题,继而从引用的概念、人际和文本三个层面提出一个修订框架。通过对应用语言学国际权威期刊实证论文的引用行为进行文本分析,本研究发现,在引用的概念内容、策略功能和文本形式的类型与分布上,英语学术研究话语呈现出明确的特征。Citation is one of the most prominent features of empirical research discourses through which academic writers both exhibit the breadth of their scholarship in a specific research area and subtly situate their studies in the disciplinary discourses. The present study first evaluates the major problems of analytic frameworks in previous international studies. Then it proposes a modified framework from the ideational, interpersonal and textual dimensions of citation practices. By text analysis of citation behaviors in empirical research articles published in prestigious international journals of applied linguistics, the study finds that English empirical research discourses demonstrate explicit features with respect to types and distributions of citation contents, citation strategies and functions, as well as their textual realizations.
