摘　　要：脑水肿是脑功能障碍的主要原因之一,它既是脑梗死发展到一定阶段出现的病理生理改变,同时对脑梗死的发生发展起着重要的作用,也是脑梗死的重要并发症。基质金属蛋白酶-9(MMP-9)则与脑血管通透性、血脑屏障通透性息息相关,在脑梗死后表达增高,因血管、血脑屏障通透性改变导致脑组织中含水量增加,为脑梗死后脑水肿形成的主要原因之一。如何抑制基质金属蛋白酶-9的表达以减轻脑水肿成为关键。综述了近5年来MMP-9的表达与脑梗死后脑水肿的研究进展。Brain edema is a brain dysfunction, which is one of the main causes of cerebral infarction when developing to a certain stage of the pathophysiological changes, at the same time on the incidence of cerebral infarction and develop ment plays an important role, also the important complications of cerebral infarction. Matrix metalloproteinase 9 （ MMP - 9） is closely related to cerebral vascular permeability and permeability of blood brain barrier, It will be increased after cerebral infarction. Due to changes in permeability of blood brain barrier in brain tissue it can lead to increased water content,which is the main cause of brain edema of cerebral infarction. How to suppress the expression of MMP - 9 in or der to reduce brain edema becomes the key. This article reviews the research progress in past 5 years about MMP - 9 ex pression and cerebral edema after cerebral infarction.
