摘　　要：能力本位是知识型社会形成的价值理念,也是新世纪人才建设中应当重视的重要理念之一。以能力为本的理念顺应社会新形势发展的需要,逐渐成为社会各个领域认可和推崇的科学管理理念。能力本位决定了其在管理理论中的核心地位,也决定了在成人教育管理中实施以能力为本的管理理念的必然性。Ability is the standard of the formation of the knowledge-based society value idea, is the new century in the construction of the talents should attach great importance to one of important concept to ability as the idea of new social situation is adapted to the needs of the development of each field gradually become social recognition and praise highly scientific management method, is to improve the management performance and meet the require- ments of the development of the people＇s comprehensive characteristic, ability to standard management theory of the core position, and also in the adult education management decided to implement to ability for this management idea inevitability.
