摘　　要：在信息时代下多媒体技术以其显著的优势在大学英语教学中得到了广泛应用,但是任何事物都具有两面性。多媒体技术集动画、影音等于一体可以生动形象地再现知识,但是由于人的操作不当,或者技术的原因多媒体的使用也存在缺陷。本文将分析多媒体教学在大学英语课堂上应用的优缺点,并提出如何高效使用多媒体的对策。In information age,multimedia has been widely applied to college English teaching for its notable advantages,but it also has disadvantages.Multimedia is able to vividly represent knowledge with the integration of animation and media,but there also exist defects for error operations or technology matters.This paper analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of multimedia teaching in college English class and proposes strategies on how to efficiently use multimedia.
