Objective To explore what kind of in-bed time and in-bed way can help to improve the mental state and comfort index of cancer patients. Methods 180 cases of cancer patients admitted in our hospital from August 2010 to August 2011 were selected as the clinical research object. They were randomly divided into two groups, the in-bed time of observation group was 12 h and the control group was 24 h.The effect was evaluated by the relevant clinical research standard of Ru Haifeng. Results 3 cases of patients in the observation group experienced hematoma in injection site and 2 cases in the control group experienced hematoma, the difference was not statistically significant(P 0.05).The comparison of comfort index between two groups showed that the observation group were significant lower than the control group in the dysuria, insomnia and back pain, the differences were statistically significant(P 0.05).Conclusion Shorten the in-bed time and changed the in-bed way has no effect on the recovery of patients and doesn't increase the rate of complication. It also can improve the comfort index of patients, increase the recognition of treatment and increase the compliance of patients. So we think this improvement program is suit to be widely spread in clinic.
