摘　　要：在传统中药进军海外市场的进程中,中药说明书的英译无疑是重要的一环。目前中药说明书,尤其功效语的英译存在不少问题,在很大程度上影响了中药说明书传递信息的功效。为此,透过语篇语言学的视角,把握功效语这条主线,分析功效语的翻译现状,探讨并提出一些功效语的语篇翻译策略,以期对功效语的英译实践有一定积极的启示。Translation of Chinese medicine instructions serves as an ＂integral link＂ in the course of traditional Chinese medicine＇s effort to access the overseas market. Currently, translation of Chinese medicine instructions and especially the functions and indi- cations is still obsessed by some problems, thus adversely affecting the communication of information inherent in Chinese medi- cine instructions. Starting from the perspective of text linguistics, examines the translation problems of functions and indications are examined. Some applicable translation strategies are explored and identified to offer positive implications for the future trans- lation of functions and indications.
