摘 要:六祖慧能与韶州夙昔有缘,得法黄梅,广州剃度后又回到韶州,并在城内大梵寺开缘说法,由弟子法海集记,成为禅宗的传法依约和传宗法宝,后来演变成了《六祖坛经》。《坛经》在韶州开始创作,经过一千多年的传播演绎,书名与内容发生过一些变化。这些变化反映了禅宗思想的发展演变,也是那个时代禅宗发展的需要。但慧能作为《坛经》的作者和韶州作为《坛经》的主要讲说演绎之地是无论如何也不能改变的。The Sixth Originator Huineng,obtained Buddhist doctrines from Huangmei,was closely attached to Shaozhou.He preached his doctrines in the Buddhist temple of Shaozhou,and his followers collected and compiled his doctrines which later developed into his masterpiece the Six Originator’s Tanjing.The writing of Tanjing started from Shaozhou.After more than one thousand years of transmission and evolution,there were some changes for both of the book title and the content,which reflected the development of Zen thought as well as the requirement of that time.However,what cannot be changed in any case is that Huineng was in no doubt the author of Tanjing,and Shaozhou was the place where he wrote the book.
