后结构主义视阈中的萧伯纳研究——评彼得·盖恩的《萧的影子:重读萧伯纳文本》

摘　　要：在国外近年出版的萧伯纳研究专著中,由佛罗里达大学出版社2004年出版的彼得·盖恩撰写的《萧的影子:重读萧伯纳文本》研究视角更显新颖、学术视野更为开阔。作者把萧伯纳文本置于后结构主义的理论背景下进行阐释,从哲学/文学的向度把萧伯纳研究拓展到一个更为宽泛的话语领域,呈现出消解传统定义、去中心、多义化的特点,对于国内的萧伯纳研究理应有所启发。Among recently published foreign monographs on Shaw, Shaw Shadows：Rereading the Texts of Bernard Shaw, written by Peter Gahan and published by University Press of Florida in 2004, has a more innovative perspective and a broader academic vision. Based on post-structural theories,the author interprets Shaw＇ s texts, and expands research on Shaw to a broader field of discourses in philosophy/literary dimension. Therefore, it demonstrates the characteristics of deconstruction of traditional definition, decentralization and multiple interpretations, and provides some enlightenment for domestic research on Shaw.
