摘　　要：在华南理工大学建校60周年,建筑学科建立80周年之际,本文回顾了开放改革以来建筑学院从弱小走向辉煌的发展过程。从确定学院亚热带特色为主导的发展方向;建立具有岭南特色的教学模式和宽松的教师队伍建设等三个方面总结了建筑学院的办学经验。To celebrate the 60’s Anniversary of SCUT and the 80’s Anniversary of the School of Architecture, this paper reviews the brilliant history of the School of Architecture after the nation’s Open-Door policy. It provides the school’s experiences from three aspects： taking sub-tropical characteristic as the major development perspective, establishing the special teaching mode based on Lingnan local characteristics, and the flexible management for teachers.
