摘　　要：领导干部应学习借鉴老子《道德经》中的修身哲学,把上善若水、少私寡欲、宠辱不惊、处下守柔、信言不美等警世格言、经典名句作为品行修养的重要内容,净化心灵,养育官德,惠施善政,为民谋福祉。The paper holds that the government officials should learn from the philosophical ideology in Lao Tzu＇s Classics of Morality and follows such maxims as being gentle like water, less individualism and less desire, staying calm before either honor or insult, keeping a low profile and staying humble, etc. so as to foster the self-improvement, purify the soul, develop a decent official morality and improve the administrative skills as well as pursue happiness for the people.
