摘　　要：作为有关世界英语变体研究的最新学术成果,《路透利支世界英语变体手册》收录了39篇世界各地研究世界英语变体系列问题的专业学术论文,综合汇聚世界英语变体研究领域著名学者的学术观点,涵盖世界英语的历史视角、核心问题和新论辩。其核心主题包括英语作为通用语的进展,作为教学媒介语的发展和以计算机作为媒介的英语变体发展。本论文集多以实证研究的方式,通过分析五大洲的英语变体语料库和不同功能分类的英语变体语料库来研究世界英语变体的语言学特征及其社会文化成因。As the latest academic achievement of world Englishes,Routledge Handbook of World Englishes has collected 39 paper from all over the world,which covers the academic viewpoint,historical perspectives,key issues and new debate on world Englishes paradigm.The essential topics include the development of English as a lingua franca and English as a medium of instruction,and the development of computer-mediated Englishes as well.Empirical study has been applied to provide English corpus regionally and functionally to explore the linguistic features and socio-cultural factors of World Englishes.
