摘　　要：在跨文化交流日益频繁,文化教学日益受重视的背景下,应该重视大学英语教材中的文化内容对我国大学英语文化教学的影响,以更好地促进大学英语主流教科书的建设和大学英语文化教学。Since the cross -culture -communication between Chinese and foreigners are more and more frequent; and the university - English - culture - lectures is receiving increasing attentions in China. In order to both promote a better designing of those textbooks, and provide better English lectures, this paper just focuses on exploring about the features of the contents and materials from the main textbooks for the college students firstly. And then, it puts some advice for- wards both to the textbook -designers and the ordinary college English teachers, which are about how to design theses main textbooks better, as well as about how to provide the college students with better English teaching.
