摘　　要：通过对茂名附近海域不同测波站短期的波浪资料进行统计分析,结果表明:该海域常浪向为ESE—SE向,强浪向为E—S向,大浪主要为台风浪;波浪年平均有效波高不超过1.5 m,年平均波周期在6 s以下,存在平均周期8 s以上的波浪。According to the short-term wave data around Maoming port sea area, the statistical analysis was carried out in this paper. The results show that the normal wave direction is ESE--SE,and the strong wave direction is E--S. The big wave is mainly impacted by typhoon. Annual average significant wave height is less than 1.5 m, and the annual average wave period is less than 6 s. The average wave period above 8 s is appeared.
