摘　　要：英语课堂上的语码转换已经成为一种广泛存在的现象,语码转换在英语课堂教学中起着重要的角色。语码转换有助于学生掌握和积累英语词汇,理解学科内容,吸引学生注意力,活跃课堂气氛。有助于建立亲密友好的师生关系,缩短师生距离,增进师生感情并鼓励学生积极参与教学活动。语码转换对于双语者来说是一种社会工具,在交流中有其特殊的效果。Code-switching in English class has become a widespread phenomenon,which plays an important role in English language teaching.Code-switching can help students to master and build up English vocabulary and understand what has been learned,attracting students＇ attention and making active class atmosphere.What＇s more,code-switching helps to build close and friendly relations between teachers and students,promoting their feelings and encouraging students to actively participate in teaching activities.Code-switching is a social tool for the bilingual persons,having its own special effect in communication.
