摘　　要：美国先进的高等教育认证制度对于促进美国高等教育发展,保障高等教育质量具有重要的作用。进入到21世纪以来,高等教育认证的发展遭受到了一定的挑战,影响到认证的独立性、权威性和认证信息公开的方式和内容。同时美国高等教育认证也呈现出一些新的发展趋势:远程高等教育认证不断完善,专业的统一认证系统正在积极构建以及学生学业成就得到高度重视。政府职能转变为我国的高等教育评估中介机构提供了一个良好的发展契机。通过对美国高等教育认证制度发展新趋势作一详细的梳理和分析,以期能够对我国高等教育的评估中介机构带来一些有益的启示。Higher Education Accreditation System plays an important role in promoting the development of higher education , and protecting the quality of higher education in the United States. Into the 21st century, the development of the Higher Education Accreditation suffered some challenges, which affect the independence and the authority of certification , and the disclosure and content of certification information. American Higher Education Accreditation is also showing some new trends： Distance High Education Accreditation is constandy improved, professional unified authentication system is actively building and student academic achievement was given high priority. The transformation of government functions provides our country＇s Higher Education Accreditation with a good opportunity . Sorting out and analyzing the new trends for Higher Education Accreditation System in the United States, Which can bring some useful inspiration to higher education evaluation agencies in China.
