摘 要:语言具身认知(ELC)作为认知语言学的一种独立的研究范式已经见诸学界,但从范式理论的角度审视ELC尚未有效展开。ELC范式在学术传统、理论论证、理论内涵、应用价值、实践研究的原则与方法论方面还需要进一步厘清。ELC研究还应坚持理论与实践相结合、宏观与微观研究相结合原则,坚持明确的学术立场,创新基于ELC的教学理念,培育ELC研究的学术共同体和学术平台。Embodied Language Cognition, hereafter referred to as ELC, an independently terminologized paradigm for cognitive linguistics, has been discussed in my own (including some others') former publicationsfrom multi-interdisciplinary angles but not yet effectively detailed from perspectives of paradigm theory so far. This paper presents a review on ELC with view to paradigm of sociology of science, analyzing the research sta- tus, problems and further research by which to provide a base for ELC studies. The existing literature is mainly reflected in the academic focus on such topics as its tradition, theoretical arguments, theoretical connotations, and revelations to English language education. The current study on ELC demands clarifying the issues like the- oretical orientation, actionable mechanism, content definition, and applied principles and methodology as well. As an independent paradigm, the study should also concern the following points in order to consolidate its basis and enhance its explanatory power as 1 ) integrate theory with applicability ; 2) combine micrographic with mi- crographic; 3) adhere to the academic stand; 4) develop ELC-based teaching materials; and 5 ) cultivate its academic community and platform.
