摘 要:波考克和斯金纳对当代共和主义的论说,皆倚重于对马基雅维利的解读,波考克在论证《君主论》与《论李维》之一致性时,以《君主论》中建构的"德行-命运"概念框架来阐释《论李维》,并以"政治革新论"来诠释两者的基本主题;他亦从德行和命运上回应了共和主义的腐化论题。斯金纳则在解读马基雅维利的一致性问题与腐化论题时提出了自己的看法。对两者的比较有助于我们从文本诠释的脉络,理解当代共和主义所谓的"德性"范式和"法律"范式之争。In the discourses of contemporary republicanism given by Pocock and Skinner,the interpretations of Machiavelli play a central role.This paper makes a comparison between Pocock's and Skinner's readings of Machiavelli,and shows the main differences in some of their republican viewpoints.The first part analyzes how Pocock explained the consistency between The Prince and Discourses;the second Part analyzes how Pocock illustrated the classical republican thesis of corruption.In the third Part,this paper focuses on Skinner's reading of Machiavelli,especially on his views about problems of consistency and corruption.This contextual approach can help us understand the arguments between the model of virtue and the model of law in contemporary republicanism.
