摘　　要：作为美国主流文学的重要一支,美国华裔文学作品中普遍渗透着相反的两种趋势:一方面是中、美文化的融合,另一方面则是华裔文学对中国传统文化的断裂与疏离。本文主要概述了美国华裔文学在创作过程中与中国传统文化既互相交融又相互碰撞的特征,折射出漂泊在异国他乡的华裔作家及其后代对中美文化所表现的截然不同的态度以及几代作家围绕文化认同、民族身份的得与失所表现出来的矛盾与冲突,阐述了两种文化未来势必融合的趋势。As an important mainstream of American literature, Chinese -American literature, in general, has two opposite trends： on the one hand, the integration of American cultural with Chinese; the other is the alienation of traditional Chinese culture and the alienation of Chinese identification away from its ethnic groups. This article outlines the conflicting, absorbing and blending history of the two cultures reflected in its creation process. Meanwhile. It not only reflects the different attitudes of the wandering Chinese immigrants in a foreign country and their descendants＇ on Sino - US cultures, but it reveals the attitudes held by different generations of people around the cultural identity, national identity, the gains and losses shown by the contra- dictions and conflicts. It is apparent that the trend is unavoidable to integrate the two cultures.
