摘　　要：环境伦理为可持续发展提供坚实的伦理基础。一方面，它从人的发展不能以耗竭资源和破坏环境为代价这一基本前提来思考可持续发展问题；另一方面，它从当代人的发展不能以牺牲后代人的发展为代价的维度来思考可持续发展的问题。The scientific environmental ethics plays a key role in the recognition of the human-environment interactions.Modern environmental ethics is the philosophical re - thinking of modern human race environmental behavior.Sustainable development implies harmony on human-environment interactions and inter-generation responsibility,with emphasis on a harmonious relationship among population,resources, environment and development,so as to lay a sustainable and healthy foundation of resources and environment for future generations.
