摘　　要：城市社会空间结构作为一定社会经济条件下的城市社会群体分化的空间表征,会随着社会经济的变迁和城市的发展而变化。我国城市社会空间结构经历了传统社会、近代社会、计划经济时期和经济转型时期几个主要阶段,各个阶段城市社会空间的形成因素及结构特征有所不同。城市社会空间结构的历史演变具有自身的规律性,社会经济形态的变革是演变的宏观背景,城市社会结构的变迁构成演变的内在动因,居住空间分异格局的变化是演变的外在条件,渐进性和继承性是演变的基本特点。As a spatial reflection of social differentiation of urban residents in certain socio - economic conditions, the structure of urban social space continuously evolves with the changes of socio - economic formation and the development of city. This essay points out that the structure of urban social space of Chinese cities undergo several stages that including the period of traditional society, the period of modern society after opium war, the period of planned economy and the period of social and economic transformation after 1990s. At different stages, the forming factors and structural features of urban social space are different. At the same time, the evolution of the structure of urban social space of Chinese cities has its inherent laws. The change of the socio - economic formation is a macro back-ground of the evolution. The change of urban social structure is an intrinsic motivation of the evolution, the change of urban resi-dential differentiation is an external condition of the evolution, and the gradualness and succession are basic characteristics of the evolution.
