摘　　要：乡村转型是乡村地域经济结构、社会形态、空间格局的演变过程。快速城市化是我国乡村转型发展的时代背景。乡村转型是我国地理学研究的一个重点领域和研究论题。乡村人地系统及其空间要素的复杂性,决定了乡村转型的地理学研究必须是多学科综合研究。地理学对乡村转型的研究围绕乡村人地系统的时空过程这一核心内容展开,研究的主题包括乡村转型时空过程、乡村转型的空间特征、乡村转型的动力机制以及乡村转型调控等方面。乡村转型的地理学研究还存在一定的局限和不足。Rural transformation is an evolution process of rural regional economical structure, social tormation and spatial pattern. The rapid urbanization is the background of today＇s China＇ rural transformation development. Rural transformation is a key field and important research project of China＇s geography. The complexity of rural man-land system and spatial elements decides the multidisciplinary research of rural transformation. A geographical study of rural transformation mainly focuses on the time and space process of rural man-land system; its themes include the time and space process of rural transformation, spatial features of rural transformation, the dynamic mechanism of rural transformation, and adjustment and control of rural transformation. There still exist some limitation and disadvantages of the geographical study of rural transformation.
