摘  要:《五四译诗与早期中国新诗》一书以界定五四译诗的时代特质为切入点,不仅将翻译诗歌研究的注意力放在语言和技巧层面上,还从翻译对诗歌文本的选择、传播、接受和影响等重要问题上进行了探讨,创新性地提出了“潜译诗”的概念及与其时新诗创作的互动关系。其书的特色是主题明确、立意高远、文风简洁、考据充实。此外该著作专门谈论了五四前后译诗对中国新诗的影响,为文学比较研究提供了新的视角与空间。"The May Fourth Poetry Translation and The Early Chinese New Poetry" defined the era characteristics of the May Fourth poetry translation as a breakthrough point. In the book, Xiong Hui not only focused on language and skill of poetry translation, but also discussed the requirement in translation to poetry text selection, communication, acceptation and influence in translation. Even more ,he creatively put forward the "Potential Poetry Translation" concept and the interactive relationship of new poetry creation at that time. The characteristics of this book can summarize into four points: clear theme; high conception; concise style; substantial textual research. What's more, this book specially discusses the influence of poetry translation before and after the "May Fourth Movement" upon Chinese new poetry that provides a new perspective and space for comparative literature study.
